Roof is loaded (meaning roofing material has been delivered), paper is on, windows are in and we are moving along. Our plumber and electrician both have about another week before they are done with rough-in. Mechanical (HVAC) is done and our AV (audio visual sub) will be onsite next week.
Now is the time I have to make all of the design decisions (that I should have made last month, but life happens). Also, there are several materials that we want to order before year end due to significant price increases.
I will be honest, this is the critical point in the project that you have to be at the job every day. My husband relates it to a train leaving the station and gathering speed. If you aren’t on top of your decisions now, they will run away with you and you will be stuck with what is left (or expensive change orders.)
